Neodent Restorative Lab
3DL works with the full Neodent implant platform line. Custom abutments, screw-retained and cement-retained crowns, and implant bridges — designed to OEM tolerances with verified scan body compatibility. This page documents the implant lines we support, OEM and third-party scan body part numbers, CAD library coverage, and clinical considerations for Neodent cases.

Final Torque Values
⚠️ Manufacturer-published torque specifications for clinical reference. Always verify against the current IFU before clinical use.
| Component | Torque |
|---|---|
| Final abutment screw | 20 Ncm |
| Healing abutment | hand-tight |
| Cover screw | hand-tight |
| Multi-unit abutment screw | 32 Ncm |
| Prosthetic screw | 20 Ncm |
Grand Morse (GM) platform spec applies across Helix GM, Drive GM, and Titamax GM lines. GM Mini Conical / Multi-unit abutment seats at 32 Ncm; prosthetic screw on top is 20 Ncm.

Clinical Notes & Considerations
- Single GM prosthetic platform across all GM body diameters simplifies scan-body inventory but requires correct platform matching with restorative components.
- Distinct intraoral vs. lab scan body SKUs (108.207 intraoral vs. 108.181 lab) — these are NOT interchangeable; the wrong choice will mis-match the library.
- Neodent also markets a separate Mini abutment-level scanbody (108.218) for the GM Mini Conical Abutment workflow — abutment-level vs. implant-level libraries must be selected accordingly in CAD.
3DL Workflow for Neodent Cases
- Identify the component before submission. Call (248) 919-7929 or message through the doctor portal — 3DL verifies the Neodent implant line, platform diameter, and the correct scan body family at no charge.
- Scan with any major IOS. Upload the scan through the doctor portal. 3DL confirms receipt the same day and validates the scan body capture before any milling begins.
- 3DL designs in matched pairs. Custom abutment and final crown are designed together so the emergence profile of the abutment supports the crown's gingival contour exactly.
- Mill, finish, ship. Custom titanium or zirconia abutment plus final crown ship together in 7 to 10 business days. Verification jig included on request.
