Privacy Policy
Dynamic Digital Dental Lab ("3DL," "we," "us") operates 3dlmi.com and related services for dental professionals. This policy explains what we collect on this website, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
The short version. We collect what you give us through our forms and contacts (practice and contact details, case preferences), plus ordinary server logs. We use it to set up and service your account and to run the site. We don't sell it, we don't run advertising trackers, and we don't use Google Analytics. 1. Who this policy covers
This policy covers visitors to 3dlmi.com and its subpages, and dental professionals who request an account, submit preferences, or contact us through the site. Our lab services themselves (prescriptions, case work, invoicing, and the doctor portal) are also governed by the agreements and forms you complete with us and, for the doctor portal, by the terms of the portal provider described below.
2. Information you give us
- Account request form — first and last name, practice name, work and billing email, phone, practice street address, city, state and ZIP, number of locations and doctors, the intraoral scanner(s) you use, and how you heard about us.
- Dentist preferences form — your prescribing preferences for cases (materials, shades, contacts, occlusion, margins and similar), tied to your practice and name.
- Free case evaluation / mailing-list request — the name, email and practice details you enter.
- Careers — a résumé and whatever you include when you email an application.
- Calls, emails and remote-support sessions — what you share when you contact us. Remote support uses TeamViewer; a technician sees your screen only during a session you start and can end at any time.
Please don't enter patient health information into website forms. Patient information belongs on your prescription and in the doctor portal, where it is handled under our lab agreements and, where applicable, HIPAA business-associate terms.
3. Information collected automatically
- Server and security logs — our site runs on Cloudflare, which records requests (IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps) to serve the site, prevent abuse and produce aggregate traffic statistics. We read these in aggregate.
- Bot protection — our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to block spam. Turnstile may set a cookie and examines browser signals; it is not used for advertising.
- Address autocomplete — when you type an address in the account request form, the text you type is sent to Google's Places service to suggest a match.
- Fonts — pages load type from Google Fonts, which means Google receives your IP address when the font file is requested.
- Scheduling — where a page embeds Calendly scheduling, Calendly processes what you enter there under its own policy.
We do not use Google Analytics, advertising pixels, or cross-site tracking cookies on this website.
4. How we use information
- To review account requests, set up your practice, and provide lab services you ask for.
- To apply your prescribing preferences to your cases.
- To respond to questions, support requests and job applications.
- To send service messages about your account or cases. We don't send marketing email unless you ask for it, and you can opt out of any marketing at any time.
- To operate, secure and improve the website.
- To meet legal, accounting and regulatory obligations.
5. Who we share it with
We share information only with the service providers that help us run the site and the lab, and only for those purposes:
- Cloudflare — hosting, storage of form submissions, security and bot protection.
- Resend — delivers the internal email notifications generated when you submit a form.
- Magic Touch Software (DLCPM) — runs our lab-management system and the doctor portal at dynamicdigitalportal.dlcpm.net, where case, account and invoice records live.
- Google — address autocomplete and fonts, as described above.
- TeamViewer and Calendly — when you use remote support or scheduling.
- Shipping carriers — to deliver cases to and from your practice.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a merger, sale or reorganization of the business. We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
6. Retention
Form submissions are kept for as long as needed to evaluate and service your account and to keep business records, then deleted or anonymized. Security logs are kept for a short rolling period. Account, case and billing records are retained as required for accounting, tax and professional-records purposes.
7. Security
Traffic to the site is encrypted (HTTPS). Form submissions are stored with a hosting provider that maintains industry-standard security controls, and access is limited to staff who need it. No system is perfectly secure; please contact us right away if you believe your account information has been compromised.
8. Your choices and rights
- You can ask us to access, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or to stop using it, by emailing info@3dlmi.com or calling (248) 919-7929. We will verify your request and respond within the time required by applicable law.
- Residents of states with consumer-privacy laws (for example California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut and others) may have additional rights, including the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them. We honor those rights regardless of where you live.
- You can block cookies in your browser; the site will still work, though spam protection on forms may ask you to complete a check.
- We do not respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals because there is no common standard, but we also don't track you across other sites.
9. Children
This site is for dental professionals and businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
10. Changes
We will post any changes here and update the effective date above. Material changes will be called out on the page.
