Implant Direct sells a fixed 30 Ncm torque wrench branded for their platforms. Legacy 3.0 narrow has a lower spec.

Clinical Notes & Considerations
- Legacy is a Zimmer Tapered Screw-Vent clone geometry; RePlant is a Nobel Replace tri-channel clone; InterActive is a NobelActive conical-hex clone. Cross-platform component compatibility with the OEM brand it mimics is widely published, but Implant Direct does not officially endorse using non-ID OEM scan bodies on their implants (and vice versa). For full-arch verified workflows, stay within OEM scan bodies.
- DIRECTscan adapters use a PEEK body with titanium base interface — different polymer surfaces can affect IOS scan capture quality compared to all-titanium scan bodies; teams should validate scan strategy.
- Scan adapter platform must match implant prosthetic platform (3.0 / 3.4 / 4.5 / 5.7 etc.), not body diameter — common error point.
3DL Workflow for Implant Direct Cases
- Identify the component before submission. Call (248) 919-7929 or message through the doctor portal — 3DL verifies the Implant Direct implant line, platform diameter, and the correct scan body family at no charge.
- Scan with any major IOS. Upload the scan through the doctor portal. 3DL confirms receipt the same day and validates the scan body capture before any milling begins.
- 3DL designs in matched pairs. Custom abutment and final crown are designed together so the emergence profile of the abutment supports the crown's gingival contour exactly.
- Mill, finish, ship. Custom titanium or zirconia abutment plus final crown ship together in 7 to 10 business days. Verification jig included on request.
