- Ankylos (TissueCare Morse taper): 15 Ncm
- Xive (1.22 mm hex): 24 Ncm
- Astra Uni Abutment final: 15 Ncm
Each Dentsply Sirona implant family has a distinct torque spec. Ankylos's 15 Ncm is uniquely low due to the Morse taper friction-lock — confirmed correct, not a typo. Xive's 24 Ncm is verified from the Xive Prosthetics & Torque Overview document.

Clinical Notes & Considerations
- Astra EV is NOT cross-compatible with Astra OsseoSpeed TX legacy — different conical connection geometry.
- Ankylos Balance Base scan bodies are abutment-level (scanning the indexed Balance Base) not implant-level for indexed restorations; the Ankylos C/X non-indexed line cannot be digitally indexed without a Balance Base in place.
- Xive's internal hex is unique to Xive — not interchangeable with other Dentsply lines.
- Atlantis IO FLO is one workflow option; Atlantis WebOrder also accepts STL from generic implant-level scan bodies (Elos, Medentika) provided the library matches.
3DL Workflow for Dentsply Sirona Implants Cases
- Identify the component before submission. Call (248) 919-7929 or message through the doctor portal — 3DL verifies the Dentsply Sirona implant line, platform diameter, and the correct scan body family at no charge.
- Scan with any major IOS. Upload the scan through the doctor portal. 3DL confirms receipt the same day and validates the scan body capture before any milling begins.
- 3DL designs in matched pairs. Custom abutment and final crown are designed together so the emergence profile of the abutment supports the crown's gingival contour exactly.
- Mill, finish, ship. Custom titanium or zirconia abutment plus final crown ship together in 7 to 10 business days. Verification jig included on request.
